In early 2019, the South Carolina government reported that there were around 4.172 individuals experiencing homelessness. It is widely known that when a person experiences homelessness, they are at higher risk for a plethora of different issues such as malnutrition, mental health problems, substance abuse problems, and, unfortunately, much more.

Pilgrims’ Inn has made it its mission to “assist clients who are homeless or at risk of homelessness” by providing “housing, emergency assistance, child care, and job readiness.” They have several programs to offer including temporary housing solutions, emergency food assistance, and childcare. They are totally focused on moving their clients from financial crisis to self-sufficiency!
